gas motor scooters 150cc
I need a motorcycle license to drive a motor scooter in CA?
Here is a link to the type of scooter Spoken: http://scooterdepot.us/150cc-Jonway-Motorcycle-Sunny-Gas-Motor-Scooters-up-to-80-MPG-p-624.html I wonder this because I looked at the "unofficial guide to DMV" sites and it was unclear how the scooters and how type of license you have to follow them. Best answer will go to the most thorough answer, hopefully you have some source (s).
The cause of confusion is the legal definition of your scooter. Legally scooter is a "facility" going to be standing up. motorcycle is any vehicle with a seat and two to three wheels in contact with the ground. Motor-driven cycle the motorcycle with an engine less than 150cc. These definitions are looking 150cc bike, the legal equivalent of Harley Road King, and it requires the same type of license and insurance. You will need a license to ride M1 without limitation, authorization or instruction, which allows you to run in daylight without passengers, and not on the highway. (Highway would be a very bad choice on this small bike anyway.) Do not forget the insurance!
