any locksmiths out there (in connection engine)?
So, I landed on this little scooter, it looks a bit like a Vespa, but some Chinese knock off brand. Well, it does not have a key, and steering lock is in place. you can not either get the boot or canister without a key. Manufacturer, Apparently I can get a key for $ 40 plus shipping from China - hoping - it really works. so I think something like $ 50? i dont know. My question is, how much does it usually costs a lock smith to make a button from scratch to get? since I do not have a broken key or anything to go by ....
It varies from place to place. If you take in a locksmith, expected 1 / 2 to 3 / 4 hour labor plus keyblanks. So, if labor is $ 60 per shop, would be $ 30 - $ 45 plus labor costs about $ 10 in materials.
