Genuine Scooter Scooters
Need advice on scooters, then?
Hey there. I am looking to buy scooter, but I'm a total newbie to the world two wheels. There seems to be two classes of scooter by price: Honda / Yamaha for about $ 5k or unknown (to me) brands like rocketa for about $ 1500. I want something that road-legal, and something that real transport, not a toy. This will be my first vehicle. I am finding 150cc scooters that claim to the highway legal, and 250 cc scoots to be less than $ 2k. I know this is just ringing alarm bells with me. I really would rather recommend a small motorcycle. They are faster, safer and more expensive. Scooters are dangerous ... the wheels are too small, the steering head rake is not designed for rapid maneuver, and if you design a flat board (running boards), they can easily break you only have a spill. Think about it.
