What is a good first bike?

I was looking at the beginner bikes ... I never rode a motorcycle, a scooter. I am looking at Zongshen 250cc Sport Bike http://www.megapowersports.com/ZS-250gs.html'm looking for something in this price range .... more than 5000 dollars! THANKS SO MUCH!

I love my Honda Rebel, but it is a cruiser. Not sure about sport bikes. Either way, buy the brand that you can get parts and service for when they need it. Remember the resale, because you will most likely trade in a larger wheel.
