Teenager moving out [Sydney]?
Ok i am 17 at the moment.
My best friend and i are looking at moving out late next year. Which means we will both be nearly 19.
Can anyone please let me know what it was like when they moved out? How old were you?
Also i would like to get an idea of how much it would cost monthly including everything [rent, bills, food, etc etc.].
We are wanting to live in Northern Suburbs [Hornsby to west ryde-ish?]
We would prefer to live in a suburb that has some shops since we both have motorbikes [well she has a scooter] it'll be hard to get groceries and such.
We would like a small house? 2-3 rooms. Under $300/week. Is it possible?
It will be expensive for you, firstly have you both got solid jobs?
I have lived in Sydney and it is hard getting housing, you need references, and when you go to look at property there are ususlly 20 people ahead of you, the real estate pick who they want to live in premises.
If you look in local papers you will get an idea of rent. plus you need to pay electricity on top of that you will need at least 4 weeks rent for bond up front with 2 weeks rent in advance. you need furniture , linen crockery it wont be cheap setting up, and you will have to do your own laundrey, and ironing cooking , you need to be able to do that and budget for food expenses ect
