will a 70cc bore kit ruin my 50cc scooter?

my bike is a honda x8r originally they were 80cc but dawn graded to 50 for the uk. the kit i want to get is a Malossi Sport 70cc and is just shy of £120

Malossi are good quality kits so there is no risk of "ruining" your moped, but it will make it illegal for you to ride it without re-registering it as a light motorcycle. It also means you will need to obtain at least an A1 license for yourself.
