scooters 50cc yamaha
I should buy a Yamaha 50cc scooters since 1983 for $ 525?
He says that his owner was idle most of time. his 2 stroke engine. It has 2200 miles on it. I took it on a test ride today and it stalls every time I came to stop. He spews quite a lot of smog and it looks like it could do about 40 miles per gallon. It is not faster than 25 miles per hour. substance is in the best condition, but also its relatively cheap. What do you think? to buy?
All depends. If your mechanically inclined, the stalling problem is simple carb / air filter cleaning. I also bet that a net carbohydrates, 30 to go mph, which is the speed that was designed for. For that amount of money should be free of defects and run at 100%. Just because it's from 1983 and has 2.200 miles to actually have to depreciate the value as long as it is in tip top form. I sold a 1986 Honda Spree for $ 600, 1985 Yamaha QT50 for $ 450 and numerous mid 80 year round for more than $ 400 without complaint owners. I still see bikes riding around, I sold more than 6 years. Kole you describe is most likely QT50, which are great bikes. Parts are readily available and affordable available. But for the price of $ 525, I would have expected for a perfect quality. I would also recommend to stay from the cheap new scooters, which are available too believe. are cheap, that for some reason.
