How to return 50cc scooter on the initial velocity?
I have a 50cc scooter. When I first got the vehicle, it would be 30 mph on flat road 20 mph in every hill and 40 mph downhill. Now it makes 20 to 25 mph on flat road, 10 to 20 mph uphill and 35 to 40 mph downhill. This is annoying and makes other drivers more aggressive and dangerous. I was told that after about a year to spare parts are worn and must be "tuned" back to its original state by performing various parts of the changes and delete things, etc. I had this car since new in a year and 3 months. What exactly do I go back to your original speed? Thanks and all answers not just take 2 easy points, but would be greatly appreciated.
You may benefit from changing the spark plug. Cleaning or replacement Air filter is a good idea, as blocked air filter will allow poor performance all round. Have the exhaust system checked to reduce the causes uhlĂk. if its automatic 50cc scooters variator (auto parts trancmission) controls how things are so-called "war" in there that can wear and cause performance problems, and are part of the service inspection. Also would benefit from checking that the belt is excessively worn or stretched. Check the wheel bearings, which each wheel is turning freely, without crushing or ugly noise, and no unnecessary backlash, and make sure brakes are not binding. If its greater speed youre after, you might benefit from adoption to drive a scooter, and asked them to conduct a "de-limitation" which should release its full potential.
