It is true, control the scooter is more efficient and safer than riding a motorcycle?
Gas prices are just (ugh!) I'm not the best driver there, as it is. I was thinking about buying a scooter because they are cheap and efficient. Should be safer than a motorcycle?
As a scooter driver, I say NO! I drive 153cc, so it get up to 70 mph with 80-100mpg depending on how I manage it. The reason why I say that it is not so safe, because most scooters are smaller and less noticeable than a larger bike like Harley or goldwing. They are also very quiet. People will hear next to them, and therefore do not look before turning into his lane. With a motorcycle, it's much easier to accelerate and get out of tricky situations where a scooter is much slower and you may not be able to get the things in time. If you drive safe and 100% defense, you'll be fine.
