How do I get patentino drive a scooter in Italy?
Im 22 and British, and want to go to Sicily for the winter. I want to drive a scooter and I did not know What license I need. I think the 50 cc patentino is it correct? And how do I get this license? XMx
If you hold a driving license, you do not "patentino" drive mopeds in Italy. Your license allows you to manage in any EU country the same kind of car you drive in the UK. So if you have a "P" A1 "or" A "category license, which will be OK to drive a moped in Italy. However, if you do not have a license, and we recommend that you get one before leaving for Italy, how they could get the Italian license only if you reside in the country, and besides that you will need to pass an exam in Italian, rather than in English.
