Should I go to the full face or open face helmet when riding a scooter?

I know that its evident that full face provides greater protection and safety, but heard that Iv'e are sometimes really hard on the neck and costraphobic. I'm just wondering if the open face helmet would be better for me, as I'm going to be a daily commute on a scooter?

full-face helmet has a much greater protection in the fall, but half or 3 / 4 helmet is certainly better than no helmet. As another poster said, you should definitely try both types and see what suits better. Regarding weight, it's not a big difference between 3 / 4 helmet, full face helmet, the weight depends more on the type of material than shape. If your commute run, and plans exit helmet underseat storage, you may also want to check and make sure that it fits before you buy it. I thought I have a full face helmet would be useful, but storage comes about 1 "short for it, and I have to wear to work. This is primarily consider just what to think.
