Any good ideas on how to Lock Up small electric scooters?

It is a Schwinn S500 electric scooter. Here is a link to pic: http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/superkids_2000_1381504 . It's a little thing, weighing about 60 pounds. Do you think that a simple chain or U-lock would be enough to ensure that the bike rack or a pole? Where do I loop it through? I'll be riding one to work soon and I need a good way to keep it from getting stolen or tampered with. (Probably will be located outside. I do not think I would use it, and everything you need to do is to remove the elevator up. XD) Every great ideas? Or someone experience? Thanks ~!
