Piaggio Scooters Problems
How can I transport a scooter home without riding it?
There's this Piaggio scooter I have bought for my daughter from ebay. The chap who's selling it lives only 3 miles from my house, but the problem is, I don't know how to pick it up. I don't know how to ride a scooter (nor do I think I'd be legal to) and it's a birthday present so I don't really want to ask my daughter to go and get it.
How can I transport this scooter home? I have an Audi A6 estate with a fair amount of boot space - are scooters too heavy to put into a boot? I also have a roof rack on the car but that seems a bit unrealistic.
Sorry if this question is completely idiotic, and yes I should have thought about this before buying it...but you should see this scooter. My daughter is going to love it. I just couldn't miss the opportunity!
That little bike is only a couple of hundred pounds and you should have no problem putting it in the cargo space.
