What would be good, large scooter shopping to avoid the high costs of big name brands?

Similarly Like many people, I am thinking about buying a scooter primarily for my short commute to work and running around town. I want more cycle (at least 250 cc), which would be fine for short road trips (say, 20-30 mil), even though it is not common. I am discourage price tag for a big name like Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Vespa, Piaggio, etc. I need something as a problem-free, as possible because I'm the least mechanically inclined. Also, I am the good guy to size 6 '3 "and 220 pounds, so I want GREAT scooter, so I have a horse is ridiculous. I was looking at a Kymco Linhai. Both seem strong support and a good record of longevity and durability. But I do not know anything about scooters, so I ask for advice from your readers on these two brands (or anything else anyone think it is really worth considering everything I said above.) Thanks for your help.

I have no personal experience with one brand, but I know that two Kymco dealers who have been in business selling more bikes for quite a while. I do not think that neither the dealer of the brand thought it would decay, and often damage their reputation. So from these two, I would vote for Kymco. Personally, I chose the Yamaha, but that is because I can get service and spare parts for it in more cities than I could with Kymco and Genuine (I checked out other brands).
