I need help with the project newton scooter?
Under this project, I have to use Newton's laws of motion 3 to design the car. This vehicle must go forward 1.5 meters by pushing back on the ground, air, or some other object. I cannot use any form power or thrust of gravity (without ramps or battery) I need some ideas on how I could make vehicle
Maybe something like this: Create a platform with wheels on. Put solid wall at the front with a spring attached facing backwards. Use a hook or other methods the spring is compressed, as you can get. Get a bowling ball or other heavy weights that will move / can be pushed relatively easily. How big / heavy to be depends on how big and heavy your platform is, if It is small enough baseball or something like that works well. Put the ball in the spring and then release the catch. spring to move the ball back, which will progressively move the platform forward. simpler method, which may or may not be breaking the rules will build ramps to your vehicle, facing backwards and then just scroll down the ball. Since the vehicle is not in itself to ramp area, which may be permitted.
