Pennsylvania Motorized Scooter Law?
I read about PennDOT (Pennsylvania Department of Transportation) website, Motor Scooter by Scooter and the engine are different. Says motorized scooters with handlebars similar to a skateboard. Rider is platform has the handlebars and controls the engine power with manual control. Scooter resembles a small motorcycle or mini-bike. It also says that they can not be operated on Pennsylvania roadways and sidewalks. Thinking about acquiring a motor scooter. Has someone in Pennsylvania sometimes legal problems with these programs. I see them all the time riding on the side-streets and apparently never caught.
