How to repair motor scooter?
Found gas powered scooter on the sidewalk. They sold their home, so I think that just wanted discard. Not start. It seems to be in good condition. I do not know a lot about engines. It is still a spark. What else should I check? What could be a problem?
Look at the cylinder compression. Remove the spark plugs - press your finger over the plug hole - start engine - it should be enough compression to blow your finger from the hole. If it does not - the engine needs to be rebuilt. Clean the carburetor - especially pilot aircraft.
