Would you recommend a scooter to commute to school?

So I was thinking about getting a scooter to ride to school. I close be able to get my license and was originally planning, and even to buy a car because gas prices. Recently the idea of buying scooter (I'm thinking 150cc) was very appealing, given the price and mileage, but also ... chill that comes with it scooter. After thorough research, I am in love with the idea of a scooter. However, my parents are concerned about security. So what is your recommendation? I am 16 years old

First let me say that I understand your parents concern at the lack of attention by drivers valid for motorcycles and scooters. But I also think it depends on many factors, and how you are responsible. Yeah, I know you do not want hear, but the new drivers are notorious for still not sure. Not. I think it also depends on where you live. If you live in a high traffic densely populated city, I would not recommend for new drivers, as drivers in cars not quite crazy, when stuck in traffic and do not pay attention to those little machines around them, while fighting to get through the next light. If live in a small town or more rural areas, then I say go for it. By the way, ignore the previous post. Scooters became totally cool. They are also easier to handle than a motorcycle, especially for someone inexperienced, get better gas mileage than a motorcycle, and are cheaper. If you decide to ski, you need to motorcycle safety rally. Good luck and safe driving.
