I plan to make Razor Electric Scooter (I know how im going to connect the razor boy left at our house. He returned and did'nt ask for it to be good, so that no flaming plz. So I ask ... What type of engine would adequite to achieve the rate of descent? (5 - 7 mph) PLZ No jet engines. And probably cheap either. As a fan motor. Would it work? If not I would be able to connect two ... PLZ
Firstly, I would like to point out, this could be complete waste of time and energy. As already stated, the DC motor must drive your rear wheel, and the battery has enough amp-hours, so it was for more than a few minutes. Big drycell batterys more expensive than a new shaver. You will need to connect him, probably on pegs. 'Gas' is nothing more than a simple on-off switch. Look into some electric motorcycles site and see what they did, and look to get some diagrams.
