Two female athletes from Lock Haven University are among the 11 finalists receives Honda-Broderick Cup. It is awarded Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year Division II.

two Lady Eagles vying for the honor are Senior Li Yizhi (Shanghai, China) and sophomore Kristen Erb (Reading, Pa. / Exeter Township).

Li summarized one of the most outstanding career in athletics history of Lock Haven women this fall. It is a three-time All-American and most decorated volleyball player in the history of Lock Haven. She earned American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Co-National Player of the Year during the season 2006.

She played from 2003 through 2006 seasons and her name drops all throughout the record books annual period. She has 14 school records. These include breaking records for new standards for career digs (1717) and total blocks (704). In 2003 led the nation in percentage as a rookie hit (, 471) in 2004 as a sophomore (, 461) and in 2006 again as a senior (, 465).

The Official 2006 NCAA Women's Volleyball Records Book, Li YiZhi is the only player who beat her career higher percentage in each NCAA division. Amy Albers, the leader is from Division III school and played for the Washington-St. Louis. Struck on record, 530 and played in 1992-94.
