I am seriously considering selling my car for gas scooter. Does anyone in a similar situation do the same?

Dwell in Memphis, TN, where he almost never snows and is quite warm year round (even if you get downright chilly in February.) What is the price natural gas in combination with a car note and insurance, I am glad to pay $ 750/month just drive! This is damn much! I could just buy a scooter for $ 1500 and $ 100/yr to pay for insurance and a $ 10 / month for fuel. My commute is only 7 miles, I had a bike half the time anyway. (I despise the high price of natural gas). Has anyone left the American way of life that is starving consumption fuel and frivolous, wasteful spending unnecessarily large vehicles for a cheaper and more efficient, nimble scooters? How did that work for you? $ 750 divided as follows: $ 350 car note ('03 Mazda Protege for less than perfect Credit ... terrible speed, & auto is only average) $ 200 gas ($ 50/week) $ 200 insurance (two tickets and high crime rate in Memphis)

im in a similar situation himself. instead of gas scooter, im considering a motorcycle. same difference. I think you should go for it. good luck.
