Where is a good place to get replacement batteries for electric scooters?
With gas fast approaching $ 5/gal, time, to dust off an old electric scooter - Extreme I-500 model, which runs on 4 batteries 12v - each battery is about the size of bricks. Tried I have several pages, but are so expensive! My batteries were never really used almost all, but I messed up wiring, and was able to deliver free, so I guess the battery can not be "resurrected" - like a car engine I suppose when you die, die.
There are very few manufacturers of batteries in the car parts store to ask. Get on-line for your good leadership. Hmmmm, Why did I get thumbs down .....?? Anyway, I thought, so I came back. do not use the same battery. There are other batteries that can be performed, or compatible. auto electric shop or a good electrician who is familiar with the DC voltage can assistance. I am a Master Electrician. No, really! Electrician been for many years.
