HELP !!!!! Confusion is the electrical AC or DC, and includes an electric scooter?

Please take the time to read I have an old zoom electric scooter and pulled the wire I'm still in love this electric scooter and do not want to get rid of him. color coding your quotes are irrelevant!. (and bad) the best way, do not believe color, get cheap multimeter set to read voltage, connect the sensor black toe into the ground and touch the wire you want to test and see if its positive or negative effects on the multimeter. This works for DC. AC means alternating current is flowing one way, then changes in the other direction. In AC you have negative and positive LIVE / ACTIVE or neutral.
