Star Wars action figures are undoubtedly one of the most popular toys outside. Just look in the toy department of any large retail stores (eg Walmart), or a large toy shop Toys, such as KB, and so on. But when it comes to finding rare Star Wars figures that collectors often seek, where do you find? Perhaps the older data are rare no longer in production (otherwise it would be very rare, and definitely worth much money).
The first (and probably the best place) to find earlier, the data collector is eBay.com. eBay is a great place to find a huge amount of used (and new) Star Wars characters. You can easily find many rare (and valuable) Star Wars action figures there. Hell, you can find almost no rare collectors item where you will be amazed with the diversity. Second place, which you can look for the Star Wars toys (and characters) is Craigslist. However, do not expect to find almost as much as you can find on eBay.
Regarding the purchase of rare action pieces on eBay, make sure you buy from sellers with good feedback from (preferably at least 100 or higher, as 99% or higher positive feedback rating). Also, be sure to fully read the auction description, especially when buying used toys (or numbers). Many sellers make a very brief and vague description in the auction title, and then will put more important details (and state) of the item (s) in the current auction details.
You may be able to get their hands on a decent valuable Star Wars action figures at garage sales or thrift shops, but the pickings may be slim to none, especially if live in a remote area. Personally, the only place that I would ever spend time looking by eBay. They have amazing number collectors' items, just be careful to buy from a trusted dealer. As for Craigslist is, just species use their own judgments, because they have no real evaluation and feedback.
