One of the beautiful things in Vermont is a change in seasons. It is interesting to keep living with the constant changes in scenery gray cloudy weather from November to the incredibly bright crisp blue and white bright winter day. We have warm summer days with high humidity and below zero winter days with zero humidity and everyone in between. These temperature ranges tend to keep much nuisance insects that our neighbors to the south have with rare observations of ticks and lime disease, and virtually no poisonous snakes and spiders. Some of these changed in recent years due to the increase of temperature in space. Check observations are becoming more frequent in southern Vermont and even an occasional tick seen in the northern areas.

Along with all these seasonal changes comes the opportunity for changes in outdoor activities. In Vermont, you can participate a wide range of activities that are not available in many parts of the country. You'll be surprised what you find around the beautiful countryside in Vermont.

During the summer months we have road and back road cycling with the advantage of many low traffic Data roads to ride. We have a large number of old dirt roads, logging, and single track trails for mountain bikes and even lift maintained downhill bike on the local ski areas. Due to our numerous lakes and rivers are many opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing and kiteboarding. There are many streams and rivers with large swimming holes through out the state. Do not forget the bike! Long route length State and there are many day trips out. Many of these day hikes leads to the mountains with beautiful views. Vermont is also a great place to camp with a beautiful state park system that offers family camping at many places through out the state.

Autumn is a wonderful season to be outdoors and watch the daily changes such as maples begin to change color and prepare for winter. It is often rainy in November, but we also have a beautiful low humidity crisp clear days, which makes for some of the best tourist year. Being cooler is also a nice time to watch those end of the season riding a bike. Autumn is the time of the year, we mushers begin to be able to run their dogs, because temperatures are lower and less chance of overheating dogs. If you have only one or two dogs, you may want to try running dog dog scooter. It is a growing sport and fun way to get you chicks to run. Deer and elk hunting take place in autumn, so if you are recreating outdoors, you should know what hunting season it could be and remain out of the woods and make sure that they are very visible, the best to wear hunter orange vests.

Winter comes next and is one of my favorite season. Being musher This season I have dogs and live. If you visit I highly recommend checking one them out. There is nothing like riding a team of sled dogs through the woods. It is an experience you will not soon forget. Another dog winter activity is powered sleds. This is drawn by one or more dogs, while cross-country skiing. Sledge is growing in popularity and it's great way to get out and exercise both you and your dog. There are also many other ways to get out and play with or dogs. Of course I know Vermont, this is for downhill skiing and there are many areas, despite running well. Puma Trail system runs the length of the state creates good long ski trip, or you can hit the short stretches of one day skiing. There is a great sledding and performance sleds here in Vermont. Have one of these sleds and a trip to the mountains for fun backcountry sled trip. Snowshoeing has become very popular and you'll often see people on snowshoes for hiking trails around the state.

Spring complete cycle the snow away and all the trees and plants springing to life. Again, it's just unbelievable to watch everything go by from a frozen state, to be fresh and green all over again. Spring can be one of the more difficult to play outdoors. We in the spring mud season and during this time can not really mountain bike or hike because of mud. We stay out all the way to help things dried to reduce erosion and damage to the tracks. It's too cold to swim, and many smaller ponds and lakes will have a layer of ice on them and kayaking and canoeing is possible. Many people start road biking as soon as the roads are clear chances to get in shape for the upcoming season. Running works and there is always the gym.

Then start from the beginning, who leads an interesting life and leave one being burnt out from it and see the same year round.
