50cc scooter problem.?

Turns on fine, runs fine, but when I give it gas, pulsing as if it received gas or a chain or something keeps slipping, and sometimes it would die after 8-10 times more if I try to make it any faster. 2008 Adly Jet 50 (50cc)

No chain. They may need a new variator rollers and belt, but it's only a year old, so not be a problem. Tune-up would help too.
